BluejayCares collects and stores the following information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password (encrypted)
• Life Plan Data: Personal, financial, health, and contact information you voluntarily provide
• Google Contacts: When you choose to import contacts from Google, we access your contact list to import selected contacts into your account

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the BluejayCares service
• Store and organize your life planning information securely
• Import contacts from Google when you explicitly request it
• Send notifications and updates related to your account

3. Google Contacts Integration

What We Access: When you use "Import from Google", we request read-only access to your Google contacts.

What We Do:

• Fetch your contacts from Google only when you click "Import from Google"
• Display contacts for you to select which ones to import
• Import only the contacts you select
• Store imported contacts in your encrypted BluejayCares account

What We Don't Do:

• We do NOT store your Google access token
• We do NOT access your Google contacts automatically or in the background
• We do NOT share your Google contacts with third parties
• We do NOT modify, delete, or sync changes back to Google

Revoking Access: You can revoke BluejayCares' access to Google at any time via your Google Account Permissions.

4. Data Security

We take security seriously:

• All sensitive data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption
• Data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections
• Access tokens are used temporarily and never stored
• User authentication is required for all data access

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• When you explicitly share information using our Share feature
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Revoke third-party integrations (like Google)

7. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
